Customer Service Specialist, Netherlands

Our client is a global biopharmaceutical company, dedicated to bringing biosimilar medicines to market, ensuring high-quality biologics are available to more patients at cost effective prices. Since their launch in 2012 they have developed the industry's most rapidly advancing biosimilar medicines portfolio and become leaders in this field.

As a result of their success continued, a newly created office-based position is now available at their European HQ in the Netherlands for a Customer Service Specialist. Working full time from the office, this position involves day-to-day interactions with customers (providing product and service information, ensuring all inquiries on product sales orders, and general product information, are responded to in a professional manner); additionally, the jobholder will also be responsible for building internal capabilities for proper management of all Controlled Distribution System (CDS) activities and for producing compliant reports on all relevant customer interactions.

Key Customer Service tasks will include:

  • Providing information on product related questions, interacting with team members across the EU regarding orders, and checking prescriber ID numbers
  • Tracking and documenting customer inquiries, processing requests by end of business day
  • Identifying and appropriately processing adverse event/product quality complaints
  • Reporting to and liaising with the European Commercial Director, regarding incidents, issues, and tasks requiring resolution

Tasks related to the Controlled Distribution System (CDS):

  • Managing prescriber ID validation with distributors and field force teams
  • Ensuring all sales orders are made with the correct prescriber ID and keeping prescriber tracking system up to date
  • Following up on regular CDS compliance monitoring processes
  • Responding to any CDS related admin tasks, such as ID mismatches
  • Developing and maintaining standardized templates, documents and procedures for CDS, in conjunction with company pharmacovigilance group
  • Reporting incidents, issues or tasks requiring resolution to the Qualified Person for pharmacovigilance regarding the CDS.

 

Skills required:

  • Experience in a similar pharmaceutical industry role would be highly desirable, including compliance and affinity experience
  • Familiarity with GDPR regulations would be beneficial
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrates passion for excellence when caring for customers
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • Understanding of product flow, sales orders, replace/refund processes
  • Competent in using Microsoft office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Strong decision making, analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Strong detail orientation and communication/listening skills.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
  • Eligibility to work full time in the Netherlands.

 

The successful applicant will be invited to start work as soon as they are available to do so, and will be rewarded with a generous basic salary and performance based bonus of up to 20%.
